Job Description
VOLT is working with a century old manufacturer in finding a Production Planner in Fulton, Illinois. Contract or Direct Hire opportunities!
The Production Planner will work together across product lines and component processes to resolve conflicts and constraints. Planner will assist the operations team to ensure accurate inventory count and will participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce lead time, improve material flow, and improve cost.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Aligns work orders with the production schedule.
  • Participates in the schedule attainment process.
  • Supports operations team as an expert on inventory transactions.
  • Acts as a leader when supporting the physical inventory process.
  • Participates in the quoting process by offering projected lead times for make to order products and ensuring adherence to lead times for make to stock items.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Effective Communication Skills when dealing with team members on the shop floor, team members who communicate with the customer, and direct contact with suppliers.
  • Computer application / program skills
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -experience in Excel Macro writing/editing preferred
    • SAP - experience as Subject Mater Expert preferred in PP, SD, MM, and/or WM
  • Time Management Skills Analytical Skills
  • Ability to be decisive and quickly adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strategic in planning

Education and/or
Experience: H.S Degree or GED required. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology preferred. Applicable experience required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
